Newbridge Wireless Completes Deployment of Neutral Host DAS at FDA’s NCTR Campus

Jefferson, AR | May 31, 2022Newbridge Wireless, a leading developer and operator of distributed antenna systems (DAS) in the US, has completed the deployment of the campus DAS system at FDA’s National Centers for Toxicology Research (NCTR).

The National Center for Toxicological Research (NCTR) is an important research component of the Food and Drug Administration that plays a critical role in the missions of FDA and DHHS to promote and protect public health. Located in Jefferson, AR, the facilities occupy 30 buildings spanning 1,000,000 square feet of floor space, including 132 general or special purpose research laboratories.

Under a GSA Multiple Award Schedules (MAS) contract, Newbridge Wireless has developed and deployed the Neutral Host DAS infrastructure on the campus that provides both indoor and outdoor cellular services from all major wireless carriers, including AT&T, Verizon Wireless, and T-Mobile. While FDA will assume the ownership of the infrastructure, Newbridge Wireless will take on the responsibilities of the maintenance.
