Winchester, VA | The Newbridge Wireless engineering team worked with AT&T to upgrade its 4G & 5G cellular services on the distributed antenna system at Winchester Medical Center (WMC), where Newbridge Wireless owns and operates a neutral host DAS infrastructure. Deployed in 2020, the expansive campus-wide system spans a sprawling 1.6 million square feet across 12 buildings, including the main hospital, two medical office buildings (MOBs), the cancer center, and other facilities.
Winchester Medical Center is one of six hospitals in the Valley Health System. Newbridge Wireless’ deployment follows a strategic partnership agreement with Valley Health System. Under the agreement, Newbridge Wireless develops, owns, and operates the infrastructure that provides cellular services from all major cellular wireless service providers (WSPs) in the United States.
