DAS Engineer
Create customized distributed antenna system (DAS) designs for commercial, industrial, and public safety applications. Perform comprehensive site surveys to gather data on signal strength, noise levels, and user density using RF measurement tools and spectrum analyzers. Translate RF design requirements into technical specifications for end-to-end DAS solutions, including antenna layouts, cable routing, power distribution, and network connectivity. Apply engineering principles to integrate system components efficiently and reliably. Simulate system performance, predict signal distribution, and generate accurate design documentation. Prepare link budgets, floor plans, coverage heatmaps, and system diagrams for stakeholder review. Assist in selecting DAS hardware and configuring system. Conduct system acceptance testing using test equipment and software tools. Prepare detailed documentation packages and ensure all deployments meet applicable federal, state, and local regulations, including those related to public safety and wireless communications, etc. Salary $103064/year. Requirements
Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or in Electrical and Computer Engineering are required.
Candidate must have completed postgraduate level courses in the areas of
1) Wireless Communications and
2) Embedded Systems;
and completed courses at or above bachelor level in the areas of
1) Electromagnetic Compatibility;
2) Communication Systems; and
3) Engineering Career Skills. (either US or foreign university courses are accepted)
