Newbridge Wireless Deploys In-Building Antenna System for Kraft Foods

Newbridge Wireless has successfully deployed an in-building antenna system to enhance Sprint-Nextel's iDEN and CDMA coverage throughout the Kraft Foods plant in Richmond, VA. Through efficient and effective RF design, we were able to successfully cover more than 800,000 square feet of interior space with a DAS of 35 antennas. We made significant considerations to accommodate the unique nature of a food processing plant, making our design minimally invasive, accounting for the sanitation of the food processing areas, and arranging installation to avoid interference with the functioning of the plant. This is the second Kraft Foods plant that Newbridge Wireless provided service for in recent years. In 2009, we deployed a DAS system in Kraft's Avon, NY plant.
